Amy and Molly visit

It was really great having Amy and Molly visit for a few days. The weather was perfect and we made it outside most of the time.

Their first day here we went to Seabeck State Park.

The ladies were such girl moms and seemed kinda horrified when Wilson and Leo started getting messy. Soon Emma got in on the action and her white leggings were destroyed - oops!

Here's the only picture of the three of us!

Emma was just as sweet as she looks. The boys loved playing with her and Ivy thinks she has a new best fiend named Memma..

Picnic lunch at the park

The next day we headed to Faye Bainbridge State Parks...another of my faves!

The kids had a hot chocolate party.

And played around in the driftwood, of course.

We ate at The Loft in Poulsbo for dinner. It was my first time sitting out on their deck...gorgeous! Amy and Molly raved about the views pretty much the whole time.

The gals left and we all missed them. Leo wrote a card to Emma and put in some hearts and baseball cards. What a sweetie!

Not pictured with the kids was a lot of playtime in the clubhouse and a glow stick party. The gals and I went to Silver City one night just for beers and had some wine on the other nights. It was so great having them.

Random fall pics

Here are some completely random fall pics that turned out cute.

"Take my picture with this tree."

"Look, Mom, we're the same color!"

Auggie loves it when we have salmon for dinner.

Another monthly beer box from Chad and Josie! I'm saving you one of every good one.

Here was our "boo" for the Yamodis family. We ended up doing the Ku's and Camden's house as well. The kids loved it!

"Take my picture."

 Random park cuteness.

Rainbow at Leo's soccer game.

State Fair

We had fun hitting the State Fair again this year. One cool new exhibit was giant bugs. It was an extra $5.00 per person to enter, but the boys were pretty excited about it.

The bugs actually moved, so it turned out to be pretty cool.

Kids played with the 10K tractors...

Saw the three day old piglets...

Took a few laps on the kid tractors...

Wilson may be getting a bit big for those kid tractors :(

We found the candy apples.

And, of course, the big slide.

We rode the pirate ride (lame!).

We also played a few crappy shoot the hoops, ring around the bottle, knock the cans down games...
They were actually pretty fun.

Lucky Leo shot one basketball for $3 and made it!
Meet Mr. Platypus.

The hightlight for Archie was the Superhero tent. We got there just as Batman and Superman were coming out!

Have you ever seen him happier??

The petting zoo was fun.

Every kid took a turn milking the fake cow....

And, we saw the winning pumpkin.

It was a totally great day, but ended really bad. It took me 45 minutes to walk to the car and Archie, Ivy and Leo were all screaming. I think they were tired and hungry, but I definitely had some tears on the way home, too. Looking at these pictures makes me glad we went, but we should have bailed a few hours earlier I guess. Oh well, we'll back next year together!

Fall!

Here are some random pictures I've taken that I thought you might like...

Auggie puts her paw on me like this every night... so sweet!
She might miss you as much as we all do.
Love you, xoxo.

Soccer

Our first soccer season!

He's having so much fun getting in the mix.

He's got cute fans...

Usually there's a playground by the field...

The other kids are not that interested in soccer...

Here's his team. Coach Daniel on the left and Coach Scott on the right.
Leo's bff, Jack, is sitting right next to him.

Leo's having a great time and it's been mostly lovely weather.

This was a game that got rainy and the kids were dancing in it... maybe we'll survive the wet part of the season after all!
